The next morning you brought Sirius the unfortunate news and explained the scenario. Luckily, Sirius was more than understanding and told you that you could always rely on him if Tom does something he shouldn't but that was just him being nice.
It was time for defence against dark arts class. You sat down in your regular seat by Narcissa who still hasn't showed up as you came early. Neatly your books placed on the desk, you put your arms on the table next to a carefully resting feather like a good student with OCD.
The bell rang and the rest of the students showed up one by one. In your surprise, Tom arrived earlier than Narcissa who's very punctual.
As you exchanged glances, Tom changed his direction from his original seat and headed down to you. He sat down, placed his books on the desk, took a breath and spoke:
"So, have you informed him?" - he raised his eyebrows
"You mean Sirius? yes, I did" - you answer
"Good."
"I don't understand, I thought you didn't want to go to the dance"
"I don't, I still think it's a waste of time" - he lowered his eyebrows and turned his gaze down at the desk "But I could not be friends with someone who'd be known as a friend of such...sycophantic" - he glanced back at you
"Huh?"
"nevermind."
Your chattery was interrupted by a forced cough coming from behind. You turned your head to cross eyes with a brown-blonde haired impatient Narcissa who then stared at Tom in a rather fearful yet angry way
"Can I help you?" - Tom gazed at her slightly shocked expression
"That's my seat" - she answered
"so?"
Narcissa did not respond. You elbowed Tom and gave him an unsatisfied look yourself.
Seeing that, Riddle glanced back at Narcissa "You can take my seat." - his eyes jumped from a place where he was meant to sit and her.
Narcissa nodded, gave you a quick glimpse and went back to sit next to a very displeased looking male.
When the lesson was over, Tom offered to go to the room of requirement, however you refused. He accepted your denial and went off by himself.
Hoping of getting some time alone, you take a casual walk outside. It was peaceful. Gentle breeze blew upon your face as birds sang quiet songs.
But your forgotten pain in your head stormed back like a hungry animal. It was a sharp pain once again, your eyesight grew darker and darker untill you could no longer see your way. You fell down on your knees. Then your vision dissolved into a crystal clear picture of collapsing solid around you. Hogwarts was crumbling down like a piece of cake as the grass and flowers that evolved around you drowned in thick fire and all the living pupils rushed around in panic and fear.
It was pitch black again, the wind blew like a raging big bad wolf and it was back to normal. You could do nothing about the visions but you knew you wanted to learn more.
Eventually your attention was caught by a pack of students packing around in the yard like sharks. You squeezed through the large crowd only to spot some more beef between Severus Snape and the infamous James Potter.
"Mind repeating it, worm!" - angry James held onto Snape's shirt collar
Snape couldn't force himself to glance into James's eyes for one bit. He murmured something which was hard to hear.
The surrounding crowd grew larger and larger. There were a few people from Gryffindor behind James, laughing at the scenario. The rest were in concern except people from house Slytherin.
"That's enough, James" - you stepped in between, pushing James away from Severus, causing him to immediately release the other.
In return, Potter did not look happy "What's the matter, siding with the loser, (your surname)?"
"Always. Now what has he done to deserve this?" - from the corner of your eye you spotted Lily and a friend of hers push through the crowd. You stood your ground as you stared into James's eyes.
"The crow laughed at me today" - he answered
"What a pity. Thought at least you'd have some common sense. Your heart is made out of stone."
"Don't think I'll let you get away with this just because you're a girl" - he said while stepping closer, face to face "This new brat thinks she's all that!" - he stepped away, turning to the crowd, laughing mockingly, then approached you very close to the face again "Do me a favour" - he lowered his voice "and go back to where you came from"
Everyone's oooo's covered the sound of Lily asking James to stop.
Just about when you were to say something, you were surprised to see a figure in front of you. You gazed at the familiar back that belonged to Tom Riddle. He was gazing slightly down at James Potter, covering you.
"How about you do us a favour and shut your annoying mouth" - Tom looked very irritated
Slightly shocked, James was just as intimidated by Tom's presence just like any other, especially when he's rumored to be dangerous. But Potter did not back down "Alright, big man, let's see what you got" - whole crowd backed away by few steps as they witnessed James take out his wand and point it at Tom.
Awaiting for duel, their mouths were slightly open.
"Pathetic." - Tom said "I will not waste my talent on you"
"Oh look! the all glorious, famous, one and incredible Tom Riddle is too scared to duel!" - James mocked him "You must of wet your pants during the trial!"
Nobody laughed. Everyone was silent. No teacher was to be seen as the massive crowd took most of the yard. There was only you in the middle, next to Severus now. In front of you stood angry Tom who clenched his fists at the sight of Potter's mischievous smile.
Right as you finally thought things were gonna hit the fan, Riddle blinked, took a breath, turned around then grabbed your arm and began to drag you out of the crowd.
"Not so fast, Riddle!" - James shouted as his wand released fast, red, illuminating light from the tip of his wand.
Quickly, Tom turned around, and with a sudden movement of his own wand, he redirected the spell onto one of the people who stood behind James Potter.
Potter was too shocked to make another movement.
Again, Riddle grabbed your hand and dragged you away from the students.
"Where are we going? I thought you went to the room?" - curious, you asked
"We're going there now"
He led you through the halls.
"Wait, but how come you ended up in the yard? the room was on the opposite side."
Suddenly, he stopped, released your elbow and raised his voice "Can you stop asking me all these ridiculous questions?"
You stared at him with a puppy-like expression as you shut up.
Tom sighed "For your own good, I advise you to stay away from all this drama"
"You know I can't and I won't"
"As you wish. But the next time I won't be there to help you"
"Well, that would be a first." - you smile.
You spent the rest of the day with Tom. Learning, talking or relaxing, you both enjoyed hogwarts. Eventually he walked you to your dormitory. He said his farewell and you headed to rest.
As tomorrow, it was finally Time. Finally, it was the time for the ball.

James Potter X Reader
"Y/N! Wait I need your help with something," yelled James from down the hall. I stopped in my tracks. I've had a crush on James ever since my 2nd year of Hogwarts, and even thought most of the time helping him got me in trouble I just couldn't say no. I know that I have no chance with him, he's been following my best friend, Lily, around like a lost puppy since 3rd year. It's 7th year now, and yet he still hasn't given up despite how many times she's said 'No'.
When he finally caught up to me he was out of breath. "I was wondering if maybe you could help me learn how to be more like a guy Lily would like," he said gasping for air. I felt a p

Don’t go to war for me
War….what did two teenagers even know about it. How could we have been so stupid to even try? Anyone with common sense would have never stuck around a potential Death Eater (but you did). How could we have been daft enough to consider pursuing a relationship of all things?
Best case scenario: we break each other’s hearts. Worst case: we both end up dead.
You knew even now, while standing in the silence, there was an awfully selfish part of you that silently begged him to come back. But who were you to step in the way of his family’s safety? How could you even consider putting yourself above th

The power of love [Tom Riddle x Reader]
That filthy muggle.
Tom Riddle looked down at (and on) the shorter girl in front of him, as they were walking down the stairs. He was quite tall for his age, while that little mudblood was at least eight inches shorter, so he could take a look at the top of her head. Her [hair colour] locks rested on her shoulders, and Tom noticed to himself that it was rather bright.
Well, in fact she wasn’t muggle (obviously, then she wouldn’t be here, in Hogwarts) nor mudblood, it was only that she was a half-blood witch. Just like he himself was a wizard. Still, she incredibly annoyed him and his pride.
Dancing with a girl like her – wh
