CONTEST!!!!!! DEADLINE MEANT TO BE TODAY

About the contest:

so me and  been working on an otome game. Yes, as long as it sounds so cheesy, it's a visual novel game about zombie apocalypse. Of course it sounds so cheesy but the plot may interest you as the purpose of it is to make you sad, happy and intimitaded at the same time. It's about the true nightmare and troubles that will follow you and your story will be based on your choices.

Anyway, the game itself is not why we're here. The contest purpose is to make as many talented artists to participate as possible. All of the entries that will meet the style of the game (that will be digital art) should be or will be in the game. (if you followed the rules and met the style of course)

now a confesion to make about this game:

Since none of us, neither me nor  are 'pros' at coloring is the main reason why we're holding the contest. We already are using some sprites we found online (creators will be credited at the end of the games, same with people who entered the contest) but it does not mean the game will be bad: it will have music, sound and probably some voice acting. The trailer will come out. But neither of us know exactly when. Hope to see you play the game though, even if you're not participating, we're glad you're still reading this  

Oh and the game will be FREE to play. ^^

Let's start with prizes, because we both know that's mostly why you're here for ^^ (well that and have a good time)

note that you can submit prizes to any places, it would be appreciated as it would help develop our project

Every single person who enters the contest and submits artwork will get a llama badge

Now it's time for the rules: 

1.You're NOT allowed to steal someone else's work.

2.You MUST draw according to the theme.

3.Your artwork WILL be in the game if it's the same style as the game (if you're drawing a character that we gave you to draw, it must have the same style and look the same)

I have no idea if you understood this ^ but I hope u did

4.You should NOT use bases. 

5.It CAN NOT be a traditional artwork or photography, neither craft or anything like that wouldn't match the game (Means digital art is a must)

6.You CAN'T let anyone else besides us use your submission.

7.You CAN submit as many artworks as you want. Even after the contest is over, support would be appreciated A LOT.

Now this is your task:

There are couple themes and you can choose which one you wanna draw

1.CUTSCENE DRAWING

Choose a character you wanna draw with the main character (player) and a guy you wanna draw having a romantic/stressed moment.

It should look like a Cutscene of them for example being ambushed by zombies and one of the guy characters trying to calm down the main character. Don't forget it's zombie apocalypse but it doesn't mean they can't have romantic moments. Something like them looking at the ruins of a city and standing on the roof would do just fine. Or one kissing the other passionately. Or maybe even hugging or the guy protecting the girl with his body. Maybe an ironic scene of one of the guys getting bit.

you can even draw the main character doing something with her friends, like running away from zombies or trying to hold the doors to block zombies from coming in.

Plus you can draw the any of those characters (pictures below) holding their weapon and about to defend themselves.

SOME PART OF THE STORY COULD BE BASED ON YOU DRAWING SO CHOOSE WISELY. SOMETHING PEOPLE WOULD ENJOY READING. sorry for caps ^^

2.GUEST CHARACTERS OR ZOMBIES

 A vector/render (as in a character without a backround or transparent, png.) Like a guest zombie survival manga character who seems dirty bit well equipped, maybe a nurse, police officer (which would come in useful for scenes that happen during the outbreak) or simply zombies. Such as mom zombie, dad zombie or any kind of zombie (but in manga/anime style). The only limit is your imagination. Make us feel surprised, do something you'd wish to see in a game.

Vector/character should be 800x600

3.BACKGROUND

A picture of a backround full of zombies on the street or anywhere would be appreciated. yep, such backgrounds as panicking people, street with explosions and car accidents would be mostly appreciated. Also abandoned house interiors. For anything else you can choose what you wanna do. Abandoned metro, inside of a prison or bloody hospital, it's up to you! you're free to choose whatever you want. ^^

background should also be 800x600 size

now finally, characters for you to see (if you chose cutscene theme) who you should draw: (Most won't have names yet, so it's up to you of what title you wanna choose)

Main character (the player): weapon: Bow and arrows, knife or a gun

Guys:

guy1: weapon: pistol or rifle

guy2: weapon: pistol

guy3: weapon: sword

guy4: pistol and explosives

Main character's best friends:

Abbie: weapon: sword, knife or pistol

Sam: Pistol

Now remember, you'll be credited. and awarded with a llama if you won't win. AND your work will be featured in the game if it will meet the style of it (look like characters) again, I have no idea if you got it .-.
